Kristina Johnson is the Transitional Kindergarten teacher at Richmond College Prep. This is her fourth school year at RCP and she loves it! She enjoys coming to school each day and watching her students grow!
One of Ms. Kristina’s favorite quotes is from Albert Einstein and it is a belief she practices each day: "It is the supreme art of the teacher to awaken joy in creative expression and knowledge."
Ms. Kristina bases her teaching on the belief that it is not enough to teach students content; you must also remember to teach them to love learning and allow them to express themselves creatively. Ms. Kristina is learning and growing everyday with her students and she expects them to do the same. She has high expectations and does her best to make learning a hands-on and engaging experience each day!
Ms. Kristina graduated from Sonoma State University with a degree in Liberal Studies, and went on to pursue her teaching credentials at Touro University. She then finished her Masters of Education with an emphasis in Innovative Learning and Technology. She would like to continue her education in the future with the University of New England, and, ultimately, become a Reading Specialist.
