Mrs. Poblano is one of our 2nd grade teachers, this is her 10th year at RCP and her third year as an educator.  She is honored and excited to serve RCP since it is a community that is very dear and close to her heart.

Mrs. Poblano was born in Mexico and was brought to the United States when she was 18 months old.  She grew up in San Francisco and moved to San Pablo when she turned 15. She graduated from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM) in San Francisco with an Associates in Arts Degree in Interior Design.  She obtained her Bachelor’s in Business Management at the South New Hampshire University through Rivet School and received her teaching credentials and a Master of Arts in Education from Alder Graduate School of Education.

Mrs. Poblano is passionate about education and creating a welcoming environment to all students. Her family and students have been her inspiration to become an educator.  While battling breast cancer, thinking about being back in the classroom gave her the strength to fight cancer with all her strength and reach her goal of becoming a teacher.

Mrs. Poblano enjoys reading, crafting, walking with her husband and spending time with family and friends.
