Born and raised in Guatemala, our CEO arrived in the U.S. in 1978.  She is the mother of six, a Bilingual Multiple Subject Credentialed teacher and Montessori trained.

Prior to opening RCP 20 years ago, she worked for WCCUSD.

Her passions are reading and writing and as a teacher, teaching Social Studies as well as Spanish.  She firmly believes that teachers are examples of behavior and moral conduct.  Similarly, she believes that students are the reason for our mission and that supporting them, their parents, teachers and instructional aides are her primordial and must joyous duty. She wants to be remembered as an emulsifier, as an element of peace and not of affliction, or as someone once called her, “a fixer.”

Echoing the words of the great Indian’s poet Rabindranath Tagore, “only the one who loves has the right to correct.”

“Aim high” is her message to all.
