Ms Arevalo is one of the Third Grade teachers at RCP. This is her third year teaching and she is honored to be a member of the RCP community.
Ms Arevalo grew up in Los Angeles, CA with her mom, older sister, and younger brother. She is the first person in her family to go to college. She attended UC Berkeley, where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a minor in Education. She received her teaching credentials and Master’s Degree in Urban Education at Loyola Marymount University.
Ms Arevalo is passionate about education and creating a learning environment that is supportive of all children, abilities, and interests. Her greatest inspiration is her mother who left her home country, El Salvador, to find a better future for herself and for her family. Ms Arevalo enjoys drawing, reading, traveling, and hiking with her dog. She is looking forward to this new school year full of joy, compassion, and fun!
