Goodman is so excited to start her first year at RCP as the 5th grade ELA teacher. She graduated from Whitman College with a B.A. in Environmental Humanities and a minor in Creative Writing.
She grew up in the Bay Area and is thrilled to be back! Before moving here, she worked on an organic farm in eastern Washington where she led outdoor education programs for elementary students. She has also taught creative writing to middle schoolers and worked at a summer school in the Bay Area.
In her free time, she loves to hike, jump in the ocean, read and write poetry, watch women’s soccer, and try new desserts. She is passionate about social emotional learning, instilling confidence and a sense of belonging in her students, and creating a collaborative learning environment.
