Dr. Keisha Prier is a transformational leader in public education with over 28 years of experience as a teacher, Principal, and District leader. She currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Richmond College Preparatory Schools, where she leads with a commitment to equity, academic excellence, and community empowerment.

Dr. Prier has held leadership roles at the school, county, and district levels, including Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services and Executive Director of K–12 Schools. Her expertise spans school transformation, instructional leadership, budget management, and strategic planning. She is known for her ability to drive systemic change, develop high-performing teams, and foster inclusive, student-centered school cultures.

A passionate advocate for historically underserved communities, Dr. Prier is deeply engaged in building partnerships that uplift students and families in Richmond. Under her leadership, Richmond College Prep is strengthening its academic programs, enhancing professional development, and expanding its focus on college and career readiness.

Dr. Prier holds a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from Mills College, as well as multiple administrative and teaching credentials. She continues to serve as a mentor to aspiring leaders and is active in professional organizations focused on educational equity and leadership development.
