Staff Erika Goodman

Ms. Goodman is so excited to start her first year at RCP as the 5th grade ELA teacher. She graduated from Whitman College with a B.A. in Environmental Humanities and a minor in Creative Writing.  She grew up in the Bay Area and is thrilled to be back! Before moving here, she worked on an organic farm in eastern Washington where she led outdoor education programs for elementary students. My name is Ms. Sangeeta, and I am your child’s 4th grade Math & Science teacher this 2023-2024 school year.  I grew up in Mumbai, India and graduated from the University of Mumbai, Bandodkar College of Science. Edward Augustus

Hi, my name is Edward Augustus and I’m the PE Instructor at Richmond College Prep School. I was born in Trinidad and Tobago which is northeast of Venezuela, and I spent my teen years growing up in Chicago, Illinois. I graduated from North Central College (which is in Naperville, Illinois) with a degree in both Exercise Science and Physical Education in 2014. Stephanie Velasquez

Hello Everyone!  I am Ms. Velasquez. I have been at RCP since 2015! I love reading, journaling, spending time with my family and traveling when I can. I also enjoy movies, music and exploring new food places! I am excited and look forward to have a successful year with your student!

Mary Redmon

This is my eighth year as an instructional aide at RCP. I am a native of Richmond and the mother of an attending RCP student. I am grateful to support both our students and our community. 

Sarah Lego

Mrs. Lego has been a member of the RCP community for over 10 years. She has taught 2nd, 6th and 8th grade and currently works as the Director of Lower School. Mrs. Lego has a bachelor's degree in Africana Studies and master's degree in Elementary Education. Mrs. Lego has a passion for teaching literacy. She believes in culturally relevant teaching practices and having high expectations for all students. When Mrs. Lego is not at RCP, she enjoys reading, playing with her dogs, and travelling with her family.
