Ms. Baronian's 3rd grade class wanted to give to those less fortunate than them this holiday season. They raised $146.83 to buy a dairy goat for a family in Rwanda, Africa and a flock of chicks for another family in Africa (through Heifer International charitable organization). This generous donation will help bring a couple of families of of poverty by providing them with a sustainable source of income. These 3rd graders are being great global citizens!
Come join us on November 4th from 10-2 for an awesome garden work day! We will have cooking demonstrations, plant giveaways, tree planting, mulching, art making, and so much more. Fun for the whole family! Lunch provided.
As we have all experienced, the city of Richmond has been on a high alert since the Napa Area Fires Sunday evening.
Because the air quality remains extremely poor and is a hazard for children and those with asthma and health issues Richmond College Prep will remain closed for its students and staff until Monday.
