The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) gives parents and eligible students (18 years or older) important rights regarding student education records. As a public charter school, Richmond College Prep complies with FERPA and is committed to protecting student privacy.

Directory Information

Richmond College Prep may disclose “directory information” without prior written consent unless parents or eligible students opt out. Directory information may include:

  • Student’s name
  • Grade level
  • Participation in school activities and events
  • Honors and awards
  • Photograph (for use in school publications, newsletters, or website)

If you do not want Richmond College Prep to disclose your student’s directory information, please submit a written request to Dr. Prier.
